This can make evacuation more difficult, as well as being the reason for further losses of lives. Press-Glas offers specialized fire resistant glass known as Pyrobel and Pyrobelite which in the case of fire changes its structure of layers responsible for stability during a fire. When exposed to fire, these layers create a monolithic, hard, non-transparent coating which holds back high temperatures and poisonous gases, which in turn eliminates the risk of increasing panic at the sight of fire.
